Sandy L. Willard

Sandra Lynn Lancaster, the daughter of Olan and Wanda (Thomas) Lancaster, was born November 25, 1942, in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Her family later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she graduated from high school in 1961.

Sandy was married to James Chappuis, Sr. and to Terry Willard. To these unions were born six children: James, Jr., Cheri, Kelly, Nikki, Teri Jo and Anthony.

Sandy has lived in Eagle Grove the last 36 years where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends; shopping, reading and loving cowboys!

Sandy passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge, at the age of 68 years. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wanda Twohey, and Olan Lancaster; sister, Dolores Shatswell; son, James Chappuis, Jr and first husband, James Chappuis, Sr and grandson, Bryce Hauser.

Survivors include five children: Cheri Wilcox, Kelly Willard and Billy Angelico, Nikki Hauser and husband Don, Teri Jo Pohlman and husband Al and Anthony Willard and wife Amy all of Eagle Grove; eleven grandchildren: Melissa and Jake Wilcox; Samantha Resh; Alycia Hauser; Blake, Mackenzie, Morgan and Brenton Pohlman; Piper and Salem Willard and three great-grandchildren: Mia Kerns, Chloe Amonson and Ryker Asche.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
