Memories & Candles
Randy was one of the first kids I met when my parents first moved to Ames. I always considered him a friend and I think he did the same. My sorrow goes to his family. Randy, rest in peace.

What a jolt this has been for our family! It really hasn't sunk in yet. I suppose it will the first time I realize that I haven't had a phone call yet this week! I'll miss you little brother! Love Ron

Heaven just got a little brighter this past week. He always liked to guess which cousin I was, having to go through all my sisters names to get to me. Your memory will always be with me. Love to All.

I'm a better person for having known Randy. The memories of the times we spent together growing up are always fresh in my mind and always bring a smile to my face. There are a choice children of our Heavenly Father who come to this earth to spread joy and happiness to the rest of us, Randy you are one of those. Love you always.

In Loving Memory of "an Angel among us",
It never ceases to amaze me how, those we think we have been there for to counsel, console, and befriend, are those who are the ones who have given us back more than we will ever know.
I will always remember Randy as-pure of heart, honest, and very, very, sociable. Randy loved Christmas and everything that "peace among men" should stand for. As with many, I couldn't be there for you.One

Randy will always be fondly remembered by those that lived in our neighborhood. His friendly smile and enthusiasm were an inspiration.
God's speed Randy. We were all blessed to know you.

It was with great sadness that I read of Randy's passing. He grew up just a few houses away from us. He always came running when an engine started up. He was always friendly and happy. He added a lot to my fondest memories of Ames. I will light a candle for Randy at Mass tomorrow. His sweet spirit will be missed.

Randy I'm so glad I got to see you at Thanksgiving and the time before that, when I hugged you when you were at your brother's place. When my dad came to pick me up, later that night I heard that you told my mom, "that your niece hugged you because she loves you." And yes, it was because I love you!

I am so sorry for your loss of Randy .He was an amazing person.I will never forget his smile, his laughter. He was the bravest person I know ,he was never afraid , I remember him diving off the high dive at the AHS pool and he belly flopped hard ,it did not faze him ,he got right back up there and tried it again until he got it right.
I will hold my fond memories in my heart forever.
He was a sweetheart and will truly be missed.
Rest in Peace dear friend.....
